The Grow-Ped is handcrafted from high-grade, aircraft-quality materials, including a 4130 Chromyl frame and a patented, cantilevered Chromyl fork. The handlebars and frame, however, are shorter and smaller than the Know-Ped's, making it ideal for smaller children. Other details include high ground clearance, front and rear brakes, and a folding design for easy storage.

Specifications:

* Engine: None
* Transmission: Kick
* Frame: Aircraft-quality 4130 Chromyl
* Fork: Patented, cantilevered, aircraft-quality 4130 Chromyl
* Handlebar: 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum
* Wheel type: 6-inch solid Go-Active rubber replaceable tires
* Rims: Mach 12 reinforced, high-impact polymer
* Front brake: Wheel caliper
* Rear brake: Stomp fender
* Folding: Yes, for easy storage and transport
* Suggested usage: City/cruising
* Max capacity: 400 pounds
* Weight: 13 pounds
* Folded dimensions: 28 by 13 by 13 inches (W x H x D)
* Unfolded dimensions: 28 by 33 by 13 inches (W x H x D)

Great Scooter!
I'm very happy with this scooter. The wheels are larger and the foot board has a higher ground clearance so it is safer than cheaper scooters. Your child is less likely to go flying if he or she hits a bump in the sidewalk. It has a hand break as well as a foot break, which is a nice option if a child gets flustered and has trouble working the foot break. Although my 4 foot tall 6 yo is large enough to use it, I think it will be even better in a couple years. The handle is not height adjustable but it does fold down. I'd say it is best for children between 4 and 5 feet. I'm 5' 2" and it is just a trifle too short for me (but I enjoy riding it anyway). I want the adult version!

BEST SCOOTER EVER
Go-Peds are the best scooter ever! Having had a Razor for nearly five years, I can justly compare the two and honestly say the Go Ped far surpasses the Razor. Not only is the Go -Ped durable, unlike the Razor, which is easily worn, but it is so very trendy, a styling gadget in today's latest faze with candy colors and outrageous shapes. Boasting a palette of electric green, flamingo pink, firetruck red, cobalt blue, and sunny yellow, the Go-Ped proves the ultimate in cool. A must have for today's on the go!
