Title: Major ice storm -- December 9, 2007 -- Norman, OK

The first wave of a major ice storm in central Oklahoma began late Saturday night, December 8, 2007, with thunderstorms and freezing rain! Over 1/2 inch of ice has fallen as of 3 am Dec 9, and the trees in our front yard are bending to the ground under the heavy ice accumulation.
